Dr Daniel Koh

Dr Daniel Koh is a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist with dual subspecialty interests in the fields of reproductive medicine and maternal fetal medicine. His clinical interest is in fertility medicine and management of high-risk and complicated pregnancies.

He is a fertility specialist accredited by the Singapore Ministry of Health (MOH) to perform assisted reproductive techniques (IVF). Dr Koh has helped many couples achieve their dream of having a baby via medical optimisation, intrauterine insemination and IVF.
With more expectant mothers having advanced maternal age and suffering from medical conditions, Dr Koh is able to ensure a safe and smooth pregnancy journey for both mummy and baby with his expertise in managing high-risk pregnancies.

Dr Koh completed his medical education from the prestigious Flinders Medical School, one of the top ranking public university in Australia. He currently holds medical registration in Australia.

After returning from Australia, Dr Koh commenced his O&G specialist training in KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, the largest maternity hospital in Singapore. He excelled in his specialist training and was awarded the Best Basic Specialist Trainee and Best Registrar Awards for his exemplary performance. Dr Koh demonstrates genuine care and empathy for his patients and was the recipient of the Service from the Heart Award and multiple Singhealth Quality Service Awards (Silver, Gold, Star, Superstar Finalist).

A staunch believer in education of the future generations of medical doctors, Dr Koh has taught in the Yong Loo Lin (NUS), Lee Kong Chian (NTU) and Duke-NUS Medical Schools. He has mentored and nurtured many young aspiring junior doctors during his career in public service. He held the appointment of Assistant Professor in Duke-NUS Medical School before entering private practice.

Dr Koh has contributed to medical research by delivering oral and poster presentations at major international scientific conferences and publishing in high impact reasearch journals. He was the recipent of the best oral presentation prizes at the SingHealth OBGYN Academic Clinical Programme Education Day for two consecutive years.

Dr Koh’s clinical research with mifepristone (RU486) has led to significant improvement in the medical abortion care in Singapore. He is accredited by MOH to perform termination of pregnancy in Singapore.
